Charlestown High School (third) is built.

[1908-MLS] Architect: Stickney & Austin. Designed the Classical Revival style, the granite building is located at 30 Monument Square. The three-story Spencer Memorial Annex, designed by George McLaughlin, is built in 1926. The school moves to a new building (fourth) on Medford Street in 1978.* The Monument Square building is subsequently converted to residential use.
